She\u2019d like to shout at them <em>you\u2019re not the only ones. You\u2019re not special<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She asked DawnSys if there was a way for her to design some intelligence virus, or create some commonsense microorganism she could inject, but: sis had simply shrugged <em>nope<\/em>, both shoulders up to her ears, hands held out empty in a cartoony French way. Still. Some people deserve a pointed index driven into the middle of their forehead, with sustained emphasis, to make them <em>bloody<\/em> <em>understand<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\u2019s avatar though, so she can\u2019t. A year ago, DawnSys announced that talking to Aurore was like talking to her, but: sister doesn\u2019t <em>actually<\/em> have to be there and listen, does she? <em>She<\/em> does! And V&amp;A, can they talk\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The contours of what Enclaves should be are fuzzy still. Enclaves is <em>idea<\/em>. It\u2019s fluid, with only bare frame, and easy for people to slip into. It\u2019s only when they try to ossify their space that things go wrong. For instance: she doesn\u2019t like at all the constant attempts at partitioning. Aurore is fighting for Enclave not to become group-prisons. Right from the start, one of the main decisions about the project was that Enclave would be open, never segregated. Not nation-flagged or creed-branded: <em>free<\/em>. Existing for Mods&amp;Plain, man&amp;woman, haves&amp;havelesses, kids&amp;teens, all together. But:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A section for me, but: far from <\/em>them<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>We deserve preferential access to <\/em>this<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>We oughtn\u2019t to have to look at <\/em>that<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You <\/em>must<em> understand this is redline.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fuck this.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She hates this.
