The Author

What happens when you spend your early teens in a library? Well, because you’re a bit of a dreamer, you head to the sci-fi section and start reading mind-boggling stories about aliens, spaceships, time travel, and tons of other stuff. Also, girls ignore you.
Now I’m much older, I wrote a book of my own and I did get the girl. So there.
I did a bunch of other things in the meantime. I read even more books. I became a dad. I became an artist and got some shows going a bit everywhere in the world. I learned a lot about loads of subjects, from how to teach photography to disabled youngsters to playing badminton, and to be careful not to mix up water pipes so you don’t end up with hot water in your toilet when you try your hand at plumbing.
I’m a French citizen, but I write in English, as I’ve lived in Britain for nearly 30 years. I’m back in France now, in an old house with 1m thick granite walls that I’m slowly attempting to redecorate.
If you wish to check out my art stuff (photography, sculpture and screen printing), head over there.
